2026 Canadian GP Preview & Bets

It’s finally race week again! And we return to one of the best tracks, Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, where several drivers have interesting records.

Preview

After a 3-week break, and with only a single race within the last two months, it will certainly be nice to watch F1 again.

The Canadian GP is a sprint weekend, so once again, the drivers will be thrown into action with very little practice time.

According to early weather forecasts, Friday and Saturday should remain dry with mid-temperatures. On Sunday, however, there’s a 50% chance of rain and low temperatures are predicted.

The big teams – Mercedes, Ferrari and McLaren – are all bringing several upgrades, so it will be interesting to see where they all stand.

George Russell has had some partly unfortunate and partly underperforming drives to open the year. Montreal is a place where he is traditionally very quick, so perhaps this will be the weekend where he bounces back. Kimi Antonelli had a good showing last year, so it could be a close fight for the win.
