Career analysis

Isack Hadjar never won a junior series, yet he seems fast and fully deserves a shot at F1. He gets a unique opportunity at Racing Bulls in 2025, facing Yuki Tsunoda, and if all goes well, he could potentially win a Red Bull seat in the future.

But we’ve seen in previous series that Isack Hadjar can be a bit slow to adapt. This was particularly obvious in F2 where the French-Algerian disappointed in his first season, only to prove his worth in his second year once he had a bit more experience.

Hadjar is not super fast in qualifying, but he makes up for it with excellent racing skills. He is the kind of driver who becomes faster over the distance and shows his worth in starts and wheel-to-wheel racing, thanks to his quick reaction time and ability to settle into a rhythm. He does get frustrated quite easily and will have to work on that to succeed at the top level. He prefers driving with oversteer and seems a bit less adaptable than other juniors, although super fast when the car suits him.

We expect Hadjar to lose the qualifying H2H-battle with Tsunoda – but also that he will have some strong race results and run close to his Japanese teammate on Sundays.
